Last year I had a bad fall down some stairs, resulting in a hip and spinal injury. Dr. Sims not only fit me in straight away, her treatment immediately helped me. In just one session, she helped realign my hips and reduced my pain level by over 80%. I would definitely recommend Dr. Sims to anyone looking for a professional, experienced physical therapist.
Before I started seeing Liz I had chronic low back pain that would spasm every few months. Sick and tired of babying my back , I went to see Liz who did a great job of assessing where my problem was coming from and setting me up on a stretching and exercising routine. I am now stronger than I have ever been and so grateful for Liz and her positive approach. She is truly the best!
"I am now stronger than I have ever been and so grateful to Liz and her positive approach."
"Her approach (to PT) was different than others that I had seen, and her caring and knowledge was evident."
...in 24 years I have never met anyone more dedicated and more qualified but more importantly never gave up on me and helped to motivate me to get well again.

"Her approach to physical therapy is eclectic..."
I've had the pleasure and honor of working with Liz as a colleague and referral partner.
Her approach to physical therapy is eclectic and her orthopedic knowledge and experience makes her the most sought after physical therapist on the South Shore.
Her patient outcomes are astounding and I have referred many of my clients to her with great success. In addition to her clinical experience, she has great empathy for her patients and loves helping them reach their goals.
Liz Sims is truly a gifted therapist and I feel privileged to have her as a colleague. I highly recommend Redpoint PT!

In 1990 I had a serious injury that led to a spinal fusion and bone graph in my lower back from S4 to S1. I never felt quite right even after the surgery and went through months of therapy and learning to walk again at the New England Spine Center in Boston through the New England Baptist Hospital.
Over the years I saw many therapists, natural healers, chiropractors and so on to help me with my chronic pain. There seemed to be no one out there who could help me get relief, nor did anyone honestly seem interested in seeing me to do well and get better to have some type of quality of life. I had given up and felt this is what my life would be like. Living with debilitating chronic pain.
I was introduced to Liz and to be honest I was apprehensive when she said she could "fix me", when those words never rang true before. However seeing her spirit and her dedication I opted to let her try as I became very selective over the years on the doctors who would treat me and whom i felt trust in.
It was not long before I began to feel well. Her approach was different than the others that I had seen and her caring and knowledge was evident. The more time we spent together the stronger I became not just in my back but she had my entire body conditioned. Barely being able to walk in her door with a cane I was able only a short time later to be able to skip. Something I had not done since before 1990. I owed all this to Liz.
In May of 2013 I fell on a wet deck. Having my feet slip from under me I injured my head, neck and shoulders.I was barely able to move my neck or head and could not get up from a lying down position without using my hands to lift my head up. The pain in my head, neck and shoulders left me immobile. With a trip that was planned a year in advance to go to Disney World the following month I thought without question my vacation was over before it started.
I went back to Dr. Sims who said " I will get you fixed." I had belief even though it was hard and time was so short. In the short time that Liz had it was only by her determination that that just before I was going to be going away i could lift and use my head and neck again.
I went to Disney that June/July and did not miss a beat. Riding any and every ride and roller coaster. Something I would have sworn would have never been possible,
I credit Liz for many things. Her ability to heal, her knowledge of physical therapy and how the body works and most importantly to myself, her actual care, concern and devotion she puts into each patient.
I would not hesitate to recommend or send anyone to Liz, for in 24 years I have never met anyone more dedicated and more qualified but more importantly never gave up on me and helped to motivate me to get well again. Something many have tried but only Liz was able to accomplish.
Dr. Sims is an intelligent, creative, problem-solver which makes her excellent at her profession, causing her to stand out from other PTs.
After struggling with shoulder issues for over two years, visiting other PTs, and not getting better, I had practically given up hope of ever being able to live normally again! Before meeting up with Dr. Sims, I was not able to carry my own groceries, lift laundry, and carry school books - I had to rely on others to help me with tasks necessary for my daily life!
I happened to reconnect with Dr. Sims through an old friend and right away she assured me that my issue was an easy fix. After several months of sessions with Dr. Sims, I am grateful to report that I am well on the road to recovery and able to do all of my daily chores, in addition to swimming, pushups, and lifting small children :).

I was sure she was going to say I should stop training, but she didn't. She worked with me right up to the day before the marathon.
I sprained my ankle in November of 2015 a few days after I had committed to running the Boston Marathon. Unfortunately, I made it worse every day at work as a Personal Shopper, walking 5-6 miles a day on marble. I went to Redpoint Physical Therapy and talked with Liz about PT while training for a marathon. I was sure she was going to say I should stop training, but she didn't. She worked with me right up to the day before the marathon. I remember hitting mile 19 and thinking "Everything hurts but my ankle!" Liz and her staff at Redpoint are caring, dedicated and unbelievably supportive. I never would have crossed that finish line if it weren't for Liz Sims at Redpoint PT.
