Redpoint run lab can help you reach your peak performance

Looking to meet your training goals? Let Redpoint help.

Redpoint Physical Therapy is now offering formal running gait analysis performed by Certified Running Gait Analysts using a standardized, runner-specific movement screen, dorsaVi wearable-sensor technology, and 2D assessment.

Do you run more than 15 miles per week? Want to improve your efficiency with running mechanics? Do you have pain with running? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you would be an ideal candidate for a Running Gait Analysis. Running gait analysis can narrow down the cause of recurring or nagging injuries and even help us recommend specific shoes based on your particular results.

The program includes:

  • A 1-hour evaluation with runner-specific, evidence-based movement screening and muscle strength testing. This includes 2D video analysis with on-screen movements, data on ground force impact, symmetry, and cadence with wearable sensor technology.

  • Our team will interpret the results and recommend a personalized plan to achieve your goals.

  • You will also receive access to the RunDNA app, providing a starter exercise routine based on your results.

  • Follow-up visits will focus on your goals and the execution of your individualized program to help you run more efficiently.

  • Reassessment includes updated measures of identified areas of weakness from your previous evaluations and should be performed 8 to 12 weeks after your evaluation.

Pricing:

  • Initial evaluation: $199

  • Follow-up visits: $90 per session

  • Reassessment: $110

  • Package: Evaluation + 4 follow-up visits + reassessment: $570 ( 15% Savings! )

Run Lab running assessments are not covered by insurance, though in some cases the follow-up sessions may be covered. Talk to your insurance provider to understand what is and is not covered by your plan. Appointments must be scheduled in advance and payment is expected at time of visit.

I’ve been a runner for about 35 years but couldn’t stay healthy. A hip issue brought me in. I couldn’t run more than a mile without pain and then couldn’t walk for the next few days afterward. I was a mess. At our first meeting, Liz said she’d have me feeling great within 12 visits. I definitely did not believe her. And then it all changed. My stride improved, my cadence increased, and all my pain is gone. I can’t believe how good I feel, and I am so happy to have running back in my life.
