My gratitude, and IT'S OPENING DAY!!!
Wow.
Sometimes, there are no better words to describe how you feel. Last week closed out 2 full months of business for Redpoint Physical Therapy, and I am so full of gratitude for my patients, friends, supporters, and the Live Life Believe Gym’s amazing staff and members! I am surrounded by awesome, every day. Thank you!
For those of you who attended my Grand Opening Celebration this past Friday, thanks for coming out and I hope you enjoyed yourself. A big thank you to those who helped make the day possible… Since I had a poorly timed case of laryngitis that night, I was unable to thank my major supporters, so now seems like a good time:
My husband, Steve Sims - thank you for letting me jump ship and follow this dream I had. I promise to make it count!
My big brother/marketing consultant/spare brain Jon Scott (If you need a marketing consultant or social media pro, this guy’s a genius!) - thank you for teaching me how to talk to people, to believe in myself, and for every other little thing you do for me.
The Mammones - thank you a million times for your constant help, support, and advice. Few days go by where I don’t lean on you for something.
The Fenwicks (especially Sue who did amazing work on my website!). Thank you for your support from the beginning, and advice along the way.
Ray LaPlante, thanks for volunteering your time, and thanks to you and Marlene Snell for your encouragement.
Steve and Leslie Gayner, thanks for believing in me, for helping me set up my office computers, and for continuing to have the answers to all my random questions.
Lee Sylvia, thank you for advising me early on, and for the continued support you offer me!
Joe and Kate Macuch, Mike Tarantino, Kathy Sharpe, thank you all for your friendship, advice, and support.
Bryan Graham DC, Julie Sieben DC, Martha Tassinari PT/CST/(there aren’t enough letters to explain what you do!), thank you for your advice and encouragement, and for your referrals… I hope I can return the favor over the next few years! We do good work together!
Brian Faghan PTA, thank you for your willingness to help me during my start up phase… I appreciate your kindness and your support so very much and look forward to working with you on some fun projects in the future.
Lastly, a BIG THANK YOU to Mike Cavanaugh for believing in me and offering me a space to work out of your beautiful gym. And THANK YOU to Natalie Rooney and all of the staff at Live Life Believe Gym for treating me like “one of the group”, for your positive energy and enthusiasm EVERY DAY, and for everything else you do for me! You guys really make this location a wonderful place to work and I am grateful to spend my days with you.
So now, tell me… NOW THAT SPRING IS HERE (doesn't that make you feel better??), who is starting to notice knee, hip, or ankle pain as you start to ramp up your walking or running game? Next week, we’ll talk about how to prevent this, or manage it if you're already feeling it. If you have specific questions, please comment below and I will try to address them.
